Welcome! My name is Christy Williams and I am a Nashville area natural light portrait photographer. I am passionate about what I do. I love life. I love being able to document life through my camera. I have always been a lover of photography. And I guess you could say it runs in my veins. From my grandfather shooting pictures of typhoons out of airplanes in World War 2, to my hippie mom taking all kinds of pictures in the 70’s and developing them in her own dark room. I have grown up with such a love of the art of photography.
I am originally from the west coast and graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!!) in 2002 with a degree in Communication, while co-editing the Chinook Yearbook alongside my best friend. I spent the better part of two years staring at pictures, layouts, text; and trying to make sure it all flowed together perfectly. But it wasn’t until November 2008 that I really bit the photography bullet, purchased my first DSLR camera and started shooting pictures of anyone who would let me. So if you’ve been along for the ride the whole time, I thank you. If you’re new to my photography, I am so flattered and excited to share what I do with you.
I have been married now for 8 years to an amazing man and am a mommy to 3 beautiful little boys.
Some of my favorite things are: Photography, eating out, massages, traveling, the beach, a clean and organized house, shopping, my family and my savior, who has given me everything. I feel truly blessed to be where I am and to be doing what I do.
